Welcome to Lucky Paws Treasury, where we are passionate about providing the largest and most durable cat scratchers for your beloved furry companions.
Ever since Dolce and I became a family in 2014, and learned more and more about cats, I've realized that scratchers are one of their essentials. I saw street cats scratching tree trunks too. Indoor cats, do need something to scratch, release stress, sit, rest and relax.
Dolce is a disabled cat, who stretches her back legs instead of loafing. I wanted her legs to be supported, because I know how my joints are like, if I let it hanging in the air at the edge of my bed while I'm sleeping.
As a Korean-Canadian, I've been travelling Korea back and forth. Every time I visited, I bought and brought scratchers in XL sizes, which were not available in North America. Sometimes I was able to fit in the 28-in luggage, which would fill in more than half of the space in the luggage, or sometimes I had to ship it and pay for oversized fee to the air line, or ask my cousin to ship it from Korea. It was not only for my cats to scratch but it was their couch, their bed, their lounge to calmly stare me.
Then I thought, if my cats like big scratchers so much, and if the extra-large size is so famous in Korea, all the other cats around the world would like them and need them.
